Who are we?
The Shade Centre is a community based grass roots organisation. We cater for and facilitate the various social and health needs of our very diverse community. The centre is based in Manor Park, Newham, which is one of the most multi-cultural and ethnically diverse boroughs in London, We also provide a platform and support many small community groups by working with them and give them access to some of our resources and experience.
The Shade Centre is a project of SHADE, which is a UK registered and well respected charity.
Our ethos
The Shade Centre is open to the whole community irrelevant of age, gender, ethnicity or religious affiliation. We are based in an area with a high population of ethnic minorities, we will therefore be sensitive to and respect peoples culture and the right of choice.
